你需要的话，可以拿走我的面包，

可以拿走我的空气，只是，不要把你的微笑拿走。

这朵玫瑰你别动它，甘霖会从你的欢笑之中一下就会喷发，

你的欢愉会冒出突如其来的银色浪花。

我从事的斗争是多么艰苦，每当我用疲惫的眼睛回顾，

常常会看到，世界并没有翻天覆地。

可是，一看到你那微笑，

冉冉地飞升起来寻找我，一下都为我打开。

你可以不给我面包、空气、光亮和春天，

但是，你必须给我你的微笑。

Take bread away from me, if you wish, 

take air away, but  do not take from me your laughter.

Do not take away the rose, 

the lance flower that you pluck, the water that suddenly bursts forth in joy, 

the sudden wave of silver born in you.

My struggle is harsh and I come back with eyes tired at times from having seen the unchanging earth, 

but when your laughter enters,

it rises to the sky seeking me and it opens for me all the doors of life.

Take bread away from me if you wish,

take air away,but do not take from me your laughter.
